New Features
- Possible Duplicates Beta:
- Added a new feature that automatically surfaces potential duplicate people and organizations. The system compares records by name similarity and shared contact details, such as postal codes or phone numbers. If a record has no address or phone number, possible duplicates are still displayed based on the name alone. When the merge feature is enabled, duplicate people can be reviewed and merged directly from the profile view, helping to maintain clean and accurate data.
- OpenWater Integration:
- Added a new integration to connect with OpenWater, a platform for managing applications such as awards and volunteer submissions. The integration supports Single Sign-On (SSO) and outbound data sync for member records, including profile, membership, and organization relationship details. Touchpoints are also supported for tracking submission activity, including when a submission is started or completed.
Improvements
- CVent Integration: Updated to use the modern Cvent REST API, replacing the legacy SOAP integration.
- Person External Login Accounts: Expanded permissions so that anyone who can edit a person record can also edit their external login accounts.
- Cascading Memberships: Improved logic for managing cascading organizational memberships that use Max Assignments. When relationships end and assignments become available, the system now automatically assigns memberships to the next eligible relationships based on start date. Assignment limits are enforced only for active and delayed memberships, allowing expired memberships to exceed the limit for historical accuracy. Reassignments run automatically on an hourly schedule to keep memberships current.
Bug Fixes
- Person Export: Fixed a bug where invalid communication preference values written via the API could cause exports to hang. These values are now validated and must be Boolean. If invalid data is encountered, exports will now continue and use an empty value as a fallback.
- Person Profile: Fixed a bug preventing some roles from editing preferences. Anyone who can edit a person record can now edit their preferences.
- Search: Fixed an issue where records with invalid values in Additional Info could sometimes fail to appear in search results. The system now ignores invalid fields to ensure all valid records appear as expected.
- CVent Integration: Fixed bug where address fields would not be properly cleared from Cvent during sync, when processing the inbound sync, cleared values would be written back to Wicket.
- WooCommerce Integration: Fixed a bug where the Managed Externally link was not visible for users with certain roles.
