Admin Configuration

    • The configuration page allows administrators to manage the settings for the integration.
    • From this page, the administrators can enable/disable the integration. If the integration is enabled, the administrators can activate/deactivate the inbound and outbound sync, select the allowed fields and roles to sync, and map memberships from Wicket to Absorb departments.

Outbound Sync

  • When outbound sync is enabled, the basic profile information of the people in Wicket is synched to their Absorb user account so they don’t have to maintain that information.
    • From the config page, the administrators can control which profile fields (first and last name, primary phone, and primary address) will be synched from the Wicket accounts to the Absorb user accounts. Administrators can also control which roles will get their data synced.
    • The Wicket account is matched to its corresponding Absorb LMS user account by the primary email address registered in their profile. If there is not a corresponding Absorb user account with the primary email address, a new account will be created in Absorb with the synched fields.

Inbound Sync

    • When inbound sync is enabled, the basic profile information of the customers in Absorb LMS will be synched to their account in Wicket.
    • From the config page, the administrators can control which profile fields (first and last name, primary phone, and primary address) will be synched from the Absorb user accounts to Wicket.
    • The Wicket account is matched to its corresponding Absorb LMS user account by the primary email address registered in their profile. If there is not a corresponding Absorb user account with the primary email address, a new account will be created in Absorb with the synched fields.
    • An identity is also created for a newly imported Absorb LMS user, the Absorb user ID is set to the assigned column in Wicket.

Touchpoints

    • Touchpoints allow the Wicket administrators to track course enrollments in the Absorb LMS system.
    • Whenever a user either enrolls or completes a course in Absorb LMS, a touchpoint is created in Wicket with the following information; timestamp, action, course code, details, and course data.

Membership Sync

    • If enabled, this feature will assign a user in Absorb LMS to a department based on Wicket membership.
    • From the config page, the administrators can decide which membership tier is mapped to which department in Absorb. Additionally, administrators can set a default department that will be used in the event the Wicket user no longer has any memberships assigned.
